About Us

This ministry was birthed in early 2007 through existing relationships with individuals in the village of Minotre, Haiti. With a common vision to see Jesus Christ glorified and disciples built and reproduced, Americans and Haitians united and formed MINISTÈ SÈL LAVI INTERNATIONAL.

First and foremost, we desire to see the growth of reproducing disciples. We know that Haiti will be ultimately changed by Haitians. After we come home, they should be equipped and supported to continue the work of the Kingdom. There are many different aspects to our vision, but disciplemaking is key to every element. Through that strategy we anticipate seeing the key leaders in Minotre impact their village, surrounding villages, their country, and their world for Christ. 

We aim to meet everyday needs through the provision of jobs, medical care, and access to food. We will be planting a garden and using the latest research to ensure productivity in the developing areas. This garden will be a source for produce for the ministry’s market. As you can envision, these aspects will feed each other economically. We are setting up a small out-patient clinic to meet medical needs. Future goals also include a guest house where visiting teams up to 40 can sleep, shower, etc., as well as a bus for team transportation and a public tap-tap service when not in use by the ministry. Security, cooks, translators, and a driver are already in place.
